START OF ACTIVITIES - LARGO
Saturday started early at Largo. The proposal was for each person to choose one of the walking/guided tour options. They could go on a trail with an artist, a performance through the village, a guided tour of ancient trees or enjoy the day as they wished, free and loose in Idanha's territory.
WALK WITH JUSTIN AND THE ARTISTS
In the morning the artists decided to join the guided tour that Justin had organised, mixing ecological and artistic knowledge on a walk through the Idanha landscape.

Interaction with Brooms and other creatures
We walk. Holm and broom provide shade, schist and granite provide shelter:
In our backpack we carry cloth and ropes. We dye with earth.
We interact with reeds, herbs, trunks and branches.
We interwine, we weave, we cover, we bend, we fold.
We dance. The hands already know

The speech of goats and goat herders
The project "The Speech of Goats and Goatherds" aims to investigate and map the sound language used between shepherds and their grazing animals in the several districts of Portugal.
Here, we try to identify the mannerisms, the vocalizations, the protolanguage between different species. The modes and the dynamics of the primordial are recovered and places of relationship between humans and animals are explored.
