Percussionist with a career spanning over 2 decades, Pedro has a degree in anthropology, specializing in ethnic music of the Portuguese diaspora. He has been part of “Gaiteiros de Lisboa” and “O Baú”, and he has also played with musicians such as José Mário Branco, Ana Moura, António Zambujo, Amélia Muge, Velha Gaiteira and “Ó que som tem?”.

Professor and educator, Pedro has directed projects dedicated to percussions in Portugal, Spain, Germany and England. He is currently working with LARGO Residência in the implementation and development of the GLUM project (Musical Urban Cleaning Group). He also works as an executive producer in different performing-art projects. Besides being a musician, Pedro has worked in theater, dance, cinema and television.
