    Flávio Sambento is a permaculturist, project manager, and coordinator of the ecological program of the Idanha-a-Vida project, where he has been leading ecological regeneration efforts and agroecological planning for over 3 years. With more than 10 years of experience in agricultural and natural ecosystem regeneration projects across the country, he is dedicated to designing and implementing resilient systems based on permaculture.

    A self-taught practitioner in the fields of ecology, biology, and botany, he deepened his knowledge with international references such as Bill Mollison, Geoff Lawton, and Dr. Elaine Ingham (Soil Foodweb Inc.), with whom he specialized in soil regeneration and soil ecology.
